Slideshow: Fast Casual Executive Summit Food Tour

The Fast Casual Executive Summit kicked off Oct. 10 with the second annual Fast Casual Food Tour.

Nearly 100 summit attendees spent time at brands such as Cosi, 5 Guys Burgers & Fries, Portillo's Hot Dogs, Qdoba and Penn Station. Attendees were encouraged to sample the fare at each location and to discuss the overall operation of each.

Following the food tour, a reception was held to bring together first-time and veteran summit attendees.

This year, more than 100 operators registered to attend the event. Panel discussions October 11 began at 7:30 a.m. with Armed & Dangerous: Building brand leaders of the future.
