Uncle Maddio's new IT strategy includes loyalty, ordering and security
Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint will launch a new IT strategy in Q1 aimed at improving customer engagement and franchisee satisfaction. It will include online and mobile ordering, as well as enhanced loyalty and security features.
According to a news release, the company's new secure, tokenization payment method will lower the risks to customers, and lower the expenses associated with PCI compliance for the franchisee. The system is fully integrated so the loyalty program, POS and online ordering communicate as one. Upon completion of the launch, the new system will be set up to handle various payment forms including the new Apple Pay.
"We have been testing the new system for months and are pleased with how easy it is to use and how seamlessly it integrates within our restaurants," said Scott Goodrich, SVP of Operations and Franchisee Support, in the release. "The new POS system will streamline all of our processes creating cost savings for our franchisees, as well as a better ordering experience for our guests."
