Sicom Systems inks acquisition of QSR tech provider RTI

Sicom Systems Inc., a provider of menu boards and restaurant POS technology, has acquired RTI, a QSR and fast casual restaurant technology company. Sicom plans to use RTI restaurant software to empower its solutions, according to a press release.

"Like SICOM, RTI has a high level of dedication and desire to help franchisees and brands increase their profitability and efficiency through the application of leading-edge technology products," Sicom CEO Jim Flynn said in the release.

With the acquisition, Sicom technology will serve more than 25,000 restaurants in more than 38 countries.

"For more than three decades, we have been delivering restaurant software solutions and are excited to transition into this next stage of the company by joining the team at Sicom and helping empower our customers to maximize the efficiency and profitability of their operations," RTI CEO Jim Clutter, said in the release.
