Hawaiian Bros continues expansion with Oklahoma opening

The fast-casual Hawaiian hot-plate chain launched operations at 750 Asp Ave., in partnership with multi-unit franchisee Ohana Restaurant Group LLC.

Wichita, Kansas-based Ohana Restaurant Group signed an agreement with Hawaiian Bros in 2023 to develop multiple locations across four markets. The franchisee recently opened a Hawaiian Bros restaurant in Springfield, Missouri, at 1272 E. Battlefield Rd.

In addition to its Hawaiian Bros locations, Ohana Restaurant Group operates Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants. The company is led by Zach Fugate and cousins Nick and Nathan Blasi.

Kansas City, Missouri-based Hawaiian Bros operates nearly 100 restaurants across 14 states and has expanded its franchise program since 2023.
