Flying Biscuit Cafe franchisee Tahir Rafiq will open his fourth location in Raleigh, North Carolina, during the first quarter of 2027. The 6609 Falls of Neuse Road restaurant will occupy a site Rafiq selected for its traffic, nearby schools and established neighborhoods.
Rafiq said the area has plenty of traffic but few breakfast options. The daytime customer base is expected to include families, neighborhood groups and lunch customers.
"I just felt like this part of town was missing a great breakfast option, and a lot of people pass through here every day," Rafiq said, in a press release.
Rafiq signed a lease for the space, with TradeMark Properties' Vijay Shah and Shelley Bhattia and CBRE's Cori Nix handling the transaction.
Atlanta-based Flying Biscuit Cafe has 43 locations open and 12 in development across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. The company is seeking additional franchisees to support its expansion.
