Pei Wei goes to college

A new Pei Wei location will soon be opened at Arizona State University.

College students at Arizona State University will soon be able to try Pei Wei , according to a recent press release, thanks to a partnership between the restaurant and Aramark bringing the concept to campus.

"We’re proud to partner with Aramark to open our first college campus location in our own backyard at ASU, just in time for the fall semester," P. F. Chang’s and Pei Wei’s president of Global Brand Development Mike Welborn said.  "We look forward to serving even more Phoenix-area diners and hope this is the first of many on-campus locations."

The location, according to the report, will offer made-to-order dishes, several varieties of sushi and a Kitchen Display System that will provide quicker service and eliminate the need for paper tickets.

"Today’s college students are looking for exciting flavors, customizable meals and greater convenience," Aramark Education COO Brent Franks said in the report. "By partnering with Pei Wei, we can provide the campus community with additional menu options and believe that the brand is an excellent addition to the Sun Devil Dining portfolio."
