Mendocino Farms expands presence in Texas

Mendocino Farms expanded its presence in Texas on Tuesday with the opening of its third Austin restaurant, located at 1100 S. Lamar Blvd., Suite 1125.

The Southern California-based fast casual chain now operates 14 locations across Texas and 102 restaurants nationwide, following previous Austin openings at Arbor Trails and West 38th Street, according to a press release.

"Ever since we opened our first Austin location in 2025, the community has embraced Mendocino Farms and showed us incredible support," Alicia Mowder, chief marketing officer of Mendocino Farms, said in the release. "Opening our third location is an exciting milestone that truly reflects that continued support."

The South Lamar location features signature menu items such as the "Not So Fried" Chicken Sandwich, The Farm Club, and the Happy Hippie. Seasonal additions include the charred Fajita Steak Salad and the Seasonal GOAT Salad with Pink Lady Apples.

As part of the grand opening, customers who register for a Mendocino Farms eClub account and select the South Lamar location before opening day receive a free entree with any purchase, valid for two weeks.

The restaurant also announced a community giveback program running through December, offering local schools, nonprofits, and community groups the opportunity to host in-store fundraisers and retain 50% of qualifying purchases.

Founded in Southern California in 2005, Mendocino Farms operates across Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Texas, and Washington.
