Guzman Y Gomez Mexican Kitchen launches mobile app

Guzman y Gomez has launched its mobile app that will provide customers faster, contact-free ordering and pick-up from both in-store or via the drive-thru.

GYG's app highlights easy menu viewing in addition to ordering and includes the restaurant's GOMEX loyalty system, that awards users points every time they dine-in with GYG or purchase food for take out. The points can be used to receive GYG rewards which include free food. The GYG app is available for download via the Apple App Store or Google Play according to a press release.

"Now more than ever customers are wanting value, speed and convenience in a contactless experience without compromising on food that is good for them," Steven Marks, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Guzman y Gomez said in the release. "The GYG app allows guests to order ahead and pick up in-store or via our drive thru for a contactless guest experience."

Guzman y Gomez is headquartered in Surry Hill, New South Wales, Australia, and operates over 145 restaurants and drive-thrus across Australia, Singapore, Japan and in the U.S.
