April 24, 2008
Designed to foster relationships among fast casual executives and to encourage an atmosphere of innovative idea generation, the Fast Casual Executive Summit is set for Sept. 15 and 16 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Denver.
Summit registration has officially opened for top executives from the fast casual segment. Click here to receive an invitation to this invitation-only event. Once your invitation request has been approved, you will receive a link to the Summit registration page. The event is free for attendees.
This year's Summit will focus on key industry issues such as brand building, challenges for 2009 and the new fast casual culture.
The Summit will begin at noon Monday with a luncheon and keynote address followed by two collaborative sessions. Thirty-minute breaks between sessions will accommodate extended discussions, new introductions or continued fellowship with other participants. Monday evening will feature one of the Summit's highlights, a private dinner event at the hotel's restaurant, Infuse.
Sessions will continue Tuesday with two morning collaboratives followed by the Summit's end at noon.
Last year's keynote speaker was Tim Pulido, former CEO of Shakey's USA, who delivered the address: "Innovative brand topics for growth: Lessons learned on the front lines."
Collaborative speakers last year also included Duke Marketing founder and CEO Linda Duke; Rudy Miick, founder of Miick & Associates; cofounder of Instincts LLC and former Sonic Corp. CEO Pattye Moore; and Fast Casual magazine publisher Paul Barron.
"Our Fast Casual Executive Summit is seen as something that is unique and that delivers an experience fast casual operators will not soon forget. With this intimate setting, participants will have the opportunity to address topics from individual concerns to brand issues and get answers and processes to take back with them," said Barron, the founder of the event.
This year's Summit sponsors include Restaurant Magic, GE Capital Solutions, Visual Graphic Systems, Custom Business Solutions and MindShare.
