The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has launched mobile ordering within its rewards app. The feature is available now at all 191 company-owned locations in Southern California and Arizona, and will be extended to include franchise locations and new geographic areas in the year ahead, according to a press release.
Mobile ordering allows guests to order ahead and skip the line. Customers who use this feature receive unique discounts and earn points toward rewards. The app is integrated with Uber, allowing guests to get to a store with the tap of a button inside the app.
"The mobile ordering feature offers convenience, flexibility and plenty of rewards," Aidan Hay, senior vice president of operations at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, said in the press release. "We know our guests are going to love it."
To get started, customers download the free app from the App Store or Google Play, create an account with their preferred payment method, choose a store location and place an order. Guests can browse drinks, customize products with just a few taps and save favorite items to reorder.
