Caribou Coffee is preparing to launch its Everyday Value Menu across all locations on May 8, offering a selection of coffee and food items priced as low as $2.
The move comes as specialty coffee chains and breakfast brands are relying on value-driven strategies to boost traffic. Companies including Starbucks, Scooter's Coffee, Dunkin' and Tim Hortons have been experimenting with lower-priced entry points, limited-time offers, bundled food-and-beverage deals, and app-based discounts.
Caribou, based in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, currently offers no-cost add-ons, such as non-dairy milk customizations, and its Caribou Perks loyalty program, allowing customers to redeem points for food and beverages.
The Everyday Value Menu includes:
• Small brewed coffee for $2
• Blueberry muffin for $3
• Cold-press coffee for $3.50
• Bacon Breakfast Sandwich, a new item, for $4
"At Caribou, we're committed to creating a consistent, high-quality experience every time someone walks into one of our coffeehouses, with a range of options that fit into their day," Matt Reiter, chief commercial and strategy officer, said in a press release. "The Everyday Value Menu expands the ways we do that and creates even more flexibility and value for guests."
