B.Good to launch loyalty program with points redeemable for food, charitable donations

Farm-to-table fast casual chain B.Good has announced the pending launch of its new loyalty program, B.Good Rewards.

The program, which will go live on March 21, will award customers one point for each dollar spent and offer flexible redemption tiers, with points redeemable in 50, 75 and 100 increments as follows:

  • 50 points – free side or beverage for breakfast or lunch.
  • 75 points – free smoothie, breakfast entrée or kids meal.
  • 100 points – free burger, bowl or salad.

B.Good Rewards will also let customers unlock special bonuses and features, including:

  • Free side with signup.
  • Free meal on rewards member's birthday.
  • Early access to new menu items. 
  • Double-points days.

"We know that today's consumers crave both greater transparency and personalization, and B.Good Rewards meets both of those needs," chief marketing officer Brent Feldman said in a press release. "Now, users can get rewarded faster, redeem rewards more frequently and, at any given time, know how many more points they need to unlock a gift."

B.Good Rewards will allow the franchise to develop one-to-one relationships with customers and provide offers and information most relevant to them, Feldman said. "For instance, if their purchase behavior indicates they're vegetarian, we're not serving them offers about something like our seasonal Maple Bacon Burger."

Additionally, rewards members will have the option to do good through the loyalty program by donating their points to a network of 25 community partners within the B.Good footprint. 

The program will be available through the newly launched B.Good app and online ordering, both of which will deliver an enhanced user experience with features that include:

  • Advance ordering — order ahead and schedule pickup for anytime that day.
  • Dietary filters — refine menu items based on dietary preferences or restrictions. 
  • Status tracker — monitor progress of an order from the time it is placed.
  • Enhanced customization — add or remove protein, ingredients, garnishes and more.
  • Additional nutritional information.

"The guest experience is important now more than ever," B.Good CEO Chris Fuqua said in the release. "With the launch of B.Good Rewards and our new app, we're delivering a frictionless guest experience that fits into customers' busy lives, while also offering them rewards they can feel good about."

The new B.Good app is available at the Apple App Store, at Google Play and online at Order.BGOOD.com.
