FAT Brands CEO discusses third-party delivery
FAT Brands CEO Andy Wiederhorn talks with Cherryh Cansler of Fast Casual about his push for delivery after his keynote speech at the Restaurant Franchising & Innovation Summit in Europe.
"Customers want food delivered to their homes. They have other things to do in their lives, and they want that convenience," said Wiederhorn in the interview.
He also commented on the effect of third-party delivery. "It's not the same customer that is coming in to eat at your restaurant, and it's not the same customer that drives in and drives back home. It is an entirely additive customer, and part of that is because of they are getting the user based delivery exposed to your brand, instead of the other way around."
