Your Pie, a fast-casual pizza chain, plans to expand its presence across the Southeast, specifically targeting metro Atlanta, the Chattanooga-Knoxville-Nashville corridor and Columbia, South Carolina, according to a press release.
The expansion strategy follows U.S. Census Bureau data showing the South added nearly 1.8 million residents between 2023 and 2024. The company is utilizing a new business model that includes a smaller restaurant footprint, streamlined kitchen operations and an increased focus on non-traditional locations and off-premise dining.
"Focusing on the Southeast markets is big for Your Pie right now, especially with the growing population and demand for something new in those areas," Ken Caldwell, CEO and head of development of Your Pie, said in the press release. "We believe that these markets resonate exceptionally well with our brand and will give us the opportunity to expand in communities that value concepts like Your Pie."
Founded in 2008 in Athens, Georgia, the brand specializes in customizable brick-oven pizzas, baked pastas and wings. The company's updated model is intended to fit into suburban and high-traffic retail environments.
"With the recently evolved operating model, Your Pie is focused on the right markets, not just more markets," Lisa Dimson, CMO of Your Pie, added in the press release. "We are building for long-term success, and these areas give us the opportunity to grow in a way that is both strategic and sustainable."
