Actor Leslie David Baker and entrepreneur Tony Vennie have opened a HoneyBaked franchise in Sherman Oaks, California.

The restaurant opened June 26 at 13327 Ventura Blvd. A grand opening celebration is scheduled for July 11 and will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, tastings, giveaways and an appearance by Baker.

Baker, best known for portraying Stanley Hudson on "The Office," partnered with Vennie, a music producer and brand strategist, on the franchise. Both live in Sherman Oaks, according to local media.

"HoneyBaked has an incredible legacy, and I'm proud to be part of its next chapter," Baker said in a press release.

"Plus, this job comes with a lot more sandwiches and a lot less time in meetings."

HoneyBaked, headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia, operates more than 400 retail locations nationwide.
