Denver-based Snooze Eatery has hired Amy Hom as chief operating officer, effective Sept. 28, as the breakfast-and-brunch chain invests in operations and plans to open 12 restaurants annually.

Hom will oversee restaurant operations and work with field leaders to support restaurant teams and strengthen accountability.

She joins Snooze from Barcelona Wine Bar, where she served as COO. Her 20-year restaurant industry career also includes leadership roles at Sweetgreen, Bluestone Lane, Red Robin, REEF Kitchens, Wolfgang Puck Catering and California Pizza Kitchen.

Hom co-founded LEAD, a community focused on leadership education, mentorship and connection. She also serves on the boards of Women in Restaurant Leadership, GLEAM Network and the Texas Restaurant Association.

"She knows how to create accountability and operational discipline while developing leaders and protecting what makes a brand special," Snooze's CEO Josh Kern said in a press release.
