Plant-based burger fast-casual chain Slutty Vegan has signed a franchise agreement with Soul Republic Hospitality Group to open a restaurant in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Soul Republic, led by Akin Affrica, also owns and will operate Slutty Vegan restaurants under development in Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio. Both are scheduled to open in fall 2026 at undisclosed locations.
Additional details on the Cincinnati site, including its address and construction timeline, will be announced later.
"Cincinnati was always part of the plan for us," Affrica said in a press release. "After signing on for Cleveland and Columbus, we saw first-hand how much demand there is for this brand in Ohio. Adding Cincinnati was an easy decision."
Atlanta-based Slutty Vegan has locations throughout the United States and has signed franchise agreements in Detroit, Florida and Washington, D.C. The brand is seeking experienced operators to drive expansion in high-opportunity markets.
