Slutty Vegan is accelerating its national franchising strategy by inking new development agreements in Atlanta and Washington, D.C.

In Atlanta, franchisees Khadejah Davis and Jamel Douglas will open and operate new locations, representing an important step in the brand's hometown expansion. The pair were the first Florida franchisees of Juici Patties and recently opened the Jamaica-based fast-food chain's third location in Brooklyn's Flatbush neighborhood.

In Washington, D.C., franchisee Brandi Forte, who joined Slutty Vegan earlier this year, will lead development across the Capital Region.

"I was intentional about partnering with operators who understand our business and the culture because this is bigger than the burgers," said founder and CEO Aisha "Pinky" Cole Hayes in a press release.

Founded in 2018, Slutty Vegan serves plant-based comfort food and operates six locations across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland and New York.
