Sliderz Restaurants, a Miami-based restaurant group serving burgers, is opening four units in Miami-Dade and Broward County, Florida. The first will open before Labor Day, said Sliderz Restaurants' founder Buzzy Sklar, who said he hand-picked an “accomplished team" to bring the unique concept into fruition. "The new bite-sized concept that's equal parts food, and cool, will offer a wide array of choices between the buns.
"With national franchises losing market share in the burger/sandwich category, Sliderz is proving that concept and food must both fit the modern age," said Sklar. "From millennials to the soccer Mom, people want to consume better quality food. We are looking to make Sliderz Restaurants the go-to spot in the fast-casual restaurant segment. I am also excited to bring on board a team of experts that will carry out the hip/modern vibe that will encompass the Sliderz experience."
For the culinary talent, Sklar has hired Chef Josh Marcus of Chow Down Grill and Josh's Deli, as consulting chef. He's already carved out a menu that will entice a wide array of palates, Skylar said.
He also hired creative agency Deep Sleep Studio and communications team Creativas Group to help execute the brand’s visual, digital and all other forms of communications.
Saladino & Associates, known for designing interiors and exteriors for other eateries, such as Pride and Joy, La Moon and Automatic Slims, is overseeing the design component of the brand.
