Shell Shack more than doubling footprint in 2018
Shell Shack, a Dallas-based seafood brand, is more than doubling its footprint in 2018.
"We have an aggressive 2018 growth plan and we're ready to share it," Jon Glaser, director of development, said in a company press release. "Not only will we be expanding our DFW operations into two new locations by mid 2018, we have chosen our next four U.S. markets outside of Texas for Shell Shack. After a considerable amount of time spent in 2017 outlining a clear direction for our corporate and franchise growth; we have chosen Oklahoma City, Denver, Phoenix and Atlanta."
CEO Dallas Hale said the positive response from the brand's franchise program has lead the team to ramp up operational training teams for 2018.
"We strategically selected these cities, so that Shell Shack corporate can provide the best support possible to our franchisees as we continue to grow throughout the U.S," he said in the release. "In 2018, we expect to open no less than eight new Shell Shack locations, which is more than doubling our current footprint."
