Seastone intros restaurant gift-card program

PROVO, Utah — Gift-card packageand promotional-program provider Seastone has announced an extensive offering of gift-card packages and programs for the restaurant industry.
 
Restaurants that recently have partnered with Seastone to promote their gift-card programs include Subway, Dunkin' Donuts and Panera Bread, according to a news release.
 
"During the 2006 holiday season, restaurant gift cards totaled $3.4 billion and accounted for 27 percent of total holiday gift-card sales," said Phil Rist, retail analyst atBIGresearch.  "We expect this trend to continue, with restaurants maintaining a large share of the growing gift-card industry."
 
Seastone works with restaurant clients to develop complete gift-card programs with coordinated gift-card designs, specialty packaging, custom displays and a variety of in-store promotional materials.
