Randy Moss joins Inta Juice

March 12, 2006

BATON ROUGE, La. — Inta Juice announced Randy Moss's increased involvement as an owner of Inta Juice stores. Moss, NFL player and Inta Juice executive, will take ownership of the Baton Rouge, La. Inta Juice store, making this location his first open franchise.

The store -- Inta Juice's first in Louisiana -- increases the national reach of the company. According to a news release, the Oakland Raider was attracted to the Baton Rouge store because it fits with his plans to open additional stores in the southern U.S., including new locations in his home state of West Virginia, North Carolina and Florida.

"Randy's involvement will help us reach our goal of being a community partner in Baton Rouge and increase awareness of Inta Juice as a healthier alternative to fast foods," explained Berkley Fuller, executive vice president and chief business development officer, who was raised in Baton Rouge.

According to the Baton Rouge store manager, the location's best-selling flavor is Caribbean Blend — also Moss's favorite smoothie — making this store a natural choice for Moss. Caribbean Blend is loaded with peach, strawberry, pineapple, orange and banana.

With Moss's support, Inta Juice has launched aggressive growth goals that include targeting nearly 100 total stores nationwide, either open or with franchise agreements in place, by the end of 2006. The company also plans to double in size by the end of 2008. The Baton Rouge area represents a primary market for this expansion.

"I fell in love with Inta Juice when I was playing football in Minnesota. I found out about its franchise opportunities and knew it was a business I should be in. I'm excited to have my first operating store in Baton Rouge," said Moss.
