Playa Bowls gears up for 400th opening

The Atlantic Park shop is locally owned and operated by longtime Playa Bowls franchisee Lizzette Pagan, along with her daughter, Karimah, and son-in-law, Robert Hagans.

"I started with Playa Bowls in 2015, just a year after the brand was founded, and from the beginning it felt like we were building something people really connected with," Pagan said in a press release. "To now be opening the 400th shop with my family, in a place that's so connected to the ocean and that energetic, on-the-go lifestyle, makes this moment incredibly meaningful."

Ahead of the grand opening, the Playa Bowls Atlantic Park team will host a community beach cleanup Thursday in partnership with 4ocean. The one-hour volunteer event will begin at 4 p.m. at the 19th Street beach access point near Atlantic Park. All supplies will be provided.
