Paytronix, a guest engagement and digital ordering solutions provider, announced an upgraded integration with commerce platform Qu to automatically sync online orders with restaurant point-of-sale systems, according to a press release.
The update builds on an October announcement connecting Qu's POS with Paytronix's loyalty, gift card and ordering data. Orders placed through Paytronix's online ordering platform now flow automatically into Qu.
The integration features deep menu synchronization across digital touchpoints, pulling categories, modifiers, pricing, images and portion sizes directly from Qu's menu structure. The system continuously scans orders for real-time updates on out-of-stock items and canceled orders, and it supports modifier hierarchies up to nine levels deep.
Additionally, the software applies location- and channel-specific pricing logic. Operators can set dynamic pricing for a single menu item based on the ordering channel, order type, meal period and location.
"The menu is the single source of truth for every restaurant operator, and when it's wrong online, everything downstream breaks," Mike Young, director of partnerships at Qu, said in the press release. "Our integration with Paytronix ensures that what lives in Qu is exactly what guests see and order from, across every channel, every time. Context-aware pricing, real-time updates, automatic recovery; operators shouldn't have to think about any of that. They should just be able to trust it."
The system currently supports various order types and payment options, with more operator features planned in the coming months.
"Online Ordering remains the leading method for consumers to place food orders, so it is paramount for us as vendors to make Online Ordering as transparent, consistent and flexible as possible, and to give operators the information they need to run their business," Kalani Stephens, director of strategic partnerships at Paytronix, added in the press release. "Our partnership with Qu uncovered an incredible innovator who is working alongside us to take the guest experience to the next level, and together, we're making it easier than ever."
