Noodles & Company CEO relinquishes post, becomes chairman

Denver Biz Journal: Noodles & Company founder and chief executive Aaron Kennedy has traded his chief executive post for that of chairman, a Denver Biz Journal report said.  

 

Having led the company since its launch in 1995, Kennedy shared his CEO status in 2002 and 2003 with ex-Sonic Corp. CEO Ken Keymer, but resumed full CEO status in late '03. 

 

Based in Boulder, Colo., Noodles & Company currently has 126 restaurants in 12 states. The chain plans to move into three new markets this year: Portland, Ore.; St. Louis; and Columbus, Ohio.
