Nolan Bushnell's uWink breaks ground

LOS ANGELES — uWink Inc., a publicly held digital entertainment company, announced that construction has begun on its entertainment restaurant. Scheduled to open this summer, uWink is a social entertainment eatery where guests can order their food, drinks and media via touchscreens.
"Everything is coming together beautifully," said Nolan Bushnell, CEO of uWink. "We've got a stellar team internally and we've chosen a great contractor to partner with us in order to make uWink a success. Breaking ground is an exciting milestone to reach after months of planning."
