Bountiful, Utah-based Mo' Bettahs Hawaiian Style Food will open its second Arizona restaurant May 18 at 50 W. Jefferson St., in downtown Phoenix.
The opening follows the fast-casual Hawaiian plate lunch chain's Arizona debut in Gilbert earlier in May.
Although it recently closed all its Kansas City-based locations, Mo' Bettahs has expanded in recent years, entering markets while emphasizing its focus on food, family and community.
The downtown Phoenix restaurant represents another step in introducing the brand's Hawaiian-inspired menu and hospitality to new customers. Since partnering with Savory Restaurant Fund, Blue Marlin Partners and Trive Capital, the chain has grown to more than 75 locations across Utah, Idaho, Oklahoma, Texas, Nevada and Arizona.
The company said its expansion strategy remains corporate-led and focused on operational consistency and long-term performance.
