LRS launches Beach Butler paging system
August 1, 2007
DALLAS — Long Range Systems has introduced its Beach Butler push-for-service paging system.
The system lets guests tell servers they are ready to order drinks or food by pressing a button. When guests are ready to order, they press a button that instantly sends a silent page to a server wearing an LRS alphanumeric pager. A message on the pager lets the server know exactly where the guests are sitting so she can serve them right away. The unit is 100-percent weatherproof and tamper-resistant and attaches to any umbrella or lounge chair. Guests also can use it to contact staff members for help or service, and staff members can use it to contact each other when they need assistance.
Another version of this system, called the Butler XP, is available for non-beach and poolside applications in other markets.
