Two well-known, fast-casual brands, Kneaders Bakery & Café and McAlister’s Deli, are opening soon in the Phoenix area.
Kneaders is opening a unit at 20630 75th Ave., in Glendale, and one at 1090 West Queen Creek Road, in Chandler. The brands will celebrate their grand openings by giving the first 100 customers at each unit free French toast, according to a company press release.
"We are thrilled to expand our locations in the Phoenix area," said James Worthington, CEO of Kneaders Bakery & Café. "We have loved being a part of the Phoenix community and look forward to offering our customers additional convenience and access to our restaurants as we provide them with fresh-made European hearth breads and a variety of healthy menu options."
McAlister’s has signed franchise agreements with a new franchise group to open five restaurants in the Phoenix market over the next four years. The brand is targeting Phoenix, Tempe, Chandler and Gilbert to open the new locations, according to a company press release. The brand has two locations on North Tatum Blvd.m in Phoenix and on West Bell Road in Peoria.
"As McAlister’s looks to expand throughout the West Coast, Arizona plays an important role in our growth strategy," said McAlister’s VP of Franchise Development Jeff Sturgis. "With only two locations in the entire state, we have significant opportunity to grow our footprint, particularly in Phoenix."
