HyperActive Tech, Zaxby's partner

January 25, 2007

PITTSBURGH — Zaxby's Franchising Inc., a fast casual restaurant chain with more than 350 locations throughout the southeastern United States, has named HyperActive Technologies Inc. as an approved vendor for its chain.

Zaxby's, whose menu features chicken fingers, wings and salads, has already installed HyperActive Bob, a kitchen production management system developed by HyperActive Technologies, in all of its corporate-owned stores.

"Since we began testing HyperActive Bob last year, restaurant performance has improved in several key areas, and we are looking forward to installing the system in all of our restaurants," said Tripp Sessions, Zaxby's information technology director.

HyperActive Bob uses vision technology combined with point-of-sale information to create predictive cooking instructions for quick-service and fast casual restaurants. Instructions are then delivered to touch screens located in the kitchen.
