Firehouse Subs recently rolled out the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine nationwide and, to introduce Louisville, Ky., customers to the technology, the restaurant is hosting a Happy Hour event from 4-6 p.m. on Dec. 16.
As part of the Happy Hour event, customers are invited to receive a free 22 oz. beverage cup and sample 120-plus beverage brands.
"The first time we saw Coca-Cola Freestyle, we knew it would revolutionize the beverage industry," said Robin Sorensen, co-founder of Firehouse Subs. "Customers rave about Coca-Cola Freestyle. It offers an interactive experience that when combined with our subs, is unmatched. We're pumped to be the first national chain on the planet to bring the fountain of the future to all of our loyal customers."
The single, freestanding unit is touchscreen operated and offers regular and low-calorie beverage brands, flavored waters, sports drinks, lemonades and other options, many exclusive to Coca-Cola Freestyle. Guests can choose from drinks never before marketed in the U.S., including caffeine-free Diet Coke with Lime, Fanta Peach, Minute Maid Light Orange Lemonade and more.
Firehouse Subs' top-selling Cherry Lime-Aid, an exclusive original recipe served with fresh squeezed lime, is one of the offerings in the fountain, making it the first chain to have its own signature drink brand with Coca-Cola Freestyle.
