Photos of mullet haircuts, parachute pants and any other "old school" behavior can be traded in for free spaghetti as part of a new promotion developed by Fazoli's in celebration of its new limited-time offerings.
Fazoli's four new "Old School" Italian dishes include Chicken Bianco, Italian Meatza, Ravioli Florentine and Sausage Cannelloni. They are available until the end of May at participating locations for $4.99 in most locations.
Customers who bring in an old school photo to any participating Fazoli's and order one of the new "Old School" entrees will receive a coupon for free spaghetti on their next visit.
Fazoli's Old School Promotion will also include the chance to win free spaghetti for a year. The only catch is you have to be willing to share your old school ways with the world, posting photos on Fazoli's Facebook page.
The "best of the worst" pictures will be awarded by Facebook fans each week. Photos with the most fan "likes" by Friday at 4 p.m. EDT will win free spaghetti for a year. The Facebook contest ends April 30.
"We all have photos from our past that we would rather forget," said Cathy Hull, chief marketing officer for Fazoli's. "And based on the kinds of Internet postings of awkward photos, people love to share these bad moments of time captured on film — yes film — not digital."
