El Pollo Loco to be on NBC's The Apprentice: Los Angeles

IRVINE, Calif. — El Pollo Loco will be featured brand on season six of NBC-TV's hit reality show, The Apprentice: Los Angeles.For one episode, the company's head man will replace Donald Trump.
When El Pollo Loco chief executive Steve Carley steps into "The Donald's" shoes atop a hill overlooking Los Angeles, it will mark the first time in the show's six-season history that someone other than Trump delivers the all-important task to contestants.
El Pollo Loco will be featured on episode four of the sixth season.Set to air Jan. 28, the segment will feature two teams of ambitious contestants as they roll up their sleeves at two Los Angeles-area El Pollo Loco restaurants. Contestants will test their culinary aptitude as they create, market and sell their own version of El Pollo Loco's signature Pollo Bowl.
No stranger to national reality television, El Pollo Loco was also featured earlier this year on NBC's The Biggest Loser in a segment where trainers coached contestants on how they can dine out healthfully and still enjoy food that's fresh and delicious.
