Dallas-based Cowboy Chicken has redesigned its website to simplify the online ordering process, CEO and President Sean Kennedy said in a company press release.
"Cowboy Chicken hospitality extends beyond our four walls and often starts when our guests visit our website or app," he said. "Both are important places to give our customers quick access to our restaurants and make their lives easier with a simple way to order a delicious meal. Now the online experience is just as engaging and enjoyable as a visit to one of our dining rooms."
Highlights of CowboyChicken.com include:
- Streamlined online ordering: An online ordering platform now links with the Cowboy Chicken app and loyalty program to create one cohesive experience. Guests may order from their closest location, select pickup options including curbside service, use and earn loyalty points and access a more intuitive process with menu suggestions to round out their order.
- Enhanced location details: Guests may find their closest Cowboy Chicken more easily now with auto-sorting by location and access real-time hours and opening/closing information. Location searches display customized hours for each day and each restaurant.
- Expanded menu visuals: The chain invested in bigger, more robust photography.
- More focus on family and fun: The Cowboy Chicken website is now a destination in itself, with more content for the whole family. As the pandemic shifted the company's focus to how it could best serve families at home with to-go Family Packs and other easy meal solutions available via Pronto Pickup, Curbside and Delivery, the need for kid-focused fun and entertainment came to the forefront in the Kids Corral section. The website also continues to be a hub for safety messaging, letting guests know the steps being taken to ensure the highest food and safety standards throughout the pandemic.
"Providing great hospitality is about creating relationships with guests," Kennedy said. " Our goal is always to engage with them and give them a positive experience in all the ways they need — online, on the go and, in person. Everything about this redesign was focused on making lunch or dinner with Cowboy Chicken an easy choice they'll want to make again and again."
Digital marketing agency Idealgrowth built the website, with mobile ordering platform LevelUp providing the online ordering system and creative agency Propaganda building assets for the website and app, which will relaunch later this spring.
