Cookie monsters added to Freebirds lineup

COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS — Freebirds World Burrito, the Texas-based fast casual known for its Monster burritos, announced Feb. 3 the introduction of the Moby Chip — the cookie counterpart to Freebirds' Monster burrito

Freebirds' newest menu item can be found in all 16 Freebirds locations across Texas.

Named after Moby Dick, the whale of extraordinary size, the Moby Chip is an extra large chocolate chip cookie.

"Chocolate chip cookies are an American icon. Because of its size and outstanding flavor, Moby Chip is definitely worthy of being served as the sweet ending to any Freebirds meal," said Alan Hixon, Freebirds World Burrito chief operating officer.
