Bye, bye buns: Tijuana Flats giving hamburgers a makeover

Tijuana Flats Tex-Mex restaurant is launching its 'Your Buns Can’t Handle It' campaign, offering two new menu items: cheezeburger tacos and Flats' fries, available at all locations.

The tacos are composed of queso, ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup and mustard and served with a side of fries.

"Our guests expect 'Flat Outrageous' Tijuana flats style tex-mex items with tons of flavor, so we are providing this new, hot and bunless favorite we know they will love this summer," said Monique Yeager, chief marketing officer, in a release.
