Buffalo Wild Wings is expanding its footprint in central Ohio this weekend with the opening of its first Columbus-area "Go" location, a takeout- and delivery-focused format aimed at capturing off-premise demand in high-growth suburban markets.
The restaurant, located at 159 OH-3 in Sunbury, is owned and operated by franchisees Sarvish and Kamni Arora of Surreal Hospitality LLC, marking the couple's first unit with the brand.
"Sunbury is growing quickly, and it's easy to see why so many people are choosing to call this community home," Sarvish Arora said in a company press release. "As that growth continues, we saw an opportunity to bring something people can genuinely get excited about — a convenient, high-quality option for busy families, game days and everyday meals."
Unlike traditional Buffalo Wild Wings sports bars, the Go asset model centers on digital ordering, a smaller real estate footprint, and fast pickup via heated food lockers. The streamlined menu focuses on core items, including traditional and boneless wings, chicken tenders, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and the brand's 26 signature sauces and dry rubs.
To drive local traffic for the launch, the restaurant is awarding free wings for a year (six wings per week for 52 weeks) to the first 50 guests ages 18 and older in line.
The restaurant will operate daily from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
Founded in 1982, Buffalo Wild Wings has more than 1,400 locations globally. The brand is part of the Inspire Brands portfolio, which also includes Arby's, Dunkin', Jimmy John's, Sonic Drive-In and Baskin-Robbins.
