Blaze Pizza fires up mobile learning

Blaze Pizza has partnered with PlayerLync to help enhance its mobile learning initiatives. The platform, which delivers learning management, operational performance support and business insights, is designed for mobile devices and teams that work on their feet, according to a company press release.

"PlayerLync is the all-in-one solution for delivering our training and content, but we also use it for internal communications and as a digital recipe book," Jim Bitticks, EVP of operations and training at Blaze Pizza, said in the release. "It's an individual performance tracker and a content hub. It checks all the boxes to ensure consistency and the success of our brand across every location as we continue to grow."

Building a winner in any industry has common threads, including training and practice, open communication and immediate, interactive performance feedback, PlayerLync's Gary Iles, head of marketing and channels, said in the release.

"It's no wonder enterprises wouldn't want to embrace a solution that's been key in helping teams win world championships," he said.
Iles said he the company loves being an essential part of the Blaze story and an integral part of its daily operations.

"They immediately understood the impact PlayerLync would have within their franchise model. Their teams are well trained, dependable and confident, and they genuinely have a great time engaging with customers," he said. “There's a positive vibe you feel walking into their restaurants, and when you leave you think… who knew grabbing a pizza for lunch would be this much fun," concludes Iles.
