The increase in food borne illnesses in recent years has made food safety an even greater concern to foodservice operators worldwide. In recognition of this rising industry concern, Fast Casual on Dec. 5 presents a not-to-miss webinar, "How to achieve excellence in food safety: Best practices to drive your food safety performance," sponsored by Steritech.

Presenters include Doug Sutton, president of Steritech, and Chris Boyles, the company’s vice president of food safety.

The webinar will provide an in-depth look at the criteria that enable food safety excellence, as well as strategies to strengthen a company’s food safety program.

The presentation will also provide tips on nominating a company for the first Excellence in Food Safety Award, which recognizes brands that excel in food safety as a key part of their operations. Steritech joined Fast Casual in launching this award.

Sutton is an advocate for upgrading the industry’s expectations on the audit experience thorough a consultative and programmatic philosophy.

Boyles manages the technical design and implementation of food safety, workplace safety and operational service excellence assessment for brands across the foodservice, restaurant and food retail sectors.
