Bd's Mongolian Grill President and COO Joe Phraner discusses the brand's new alcohol menu, which features classic drinks that have an Asian twist -- such as a mojito with pineapple. He said the company had not updated its menu in three or four years and it was time to do so, to stay on trend.
In addition, bd's has extended its beer selection to include a broader range of craft offerings. In the Denver market, for example, the company increased the number of taps specifically to add more local brews.
"This menu helps us with the local, community feeling that's out there," Phraner said, adding that the company hopes to drive a 1.5-percent incremental sales lift from the new beverages.
