Zoës Kitchen names new COO

Zoës Kitchen has announced the appointment of Kevin Miles to chief operating officer, a new position for the company.

Miles, who has more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, began with the company in May 2009 as vice president, operations. During that time, he was responsible for managing day-to-day operations as the chain grew from 26 to 44 restaurants located throughout the Southeast.

Prior to joining Zoës Kitchen, Miles served as director of operations for La Madeleine French Bakery and Café, senior vice president of operations with Baja Fresh and executive vice president of operations for Pollo Campero. 

Miles is a graduate of Texas A&M University and holds a bachelor of science degree in agricultural economics. He is a native of Dallas.
