Wingstop signs 5-year sponsorship deal with Dallas Cowboys

DALLAS — The Dallas Cowboys and Wingstop Restaurants Inc. have announced a partnership deal in which Wingstop will be the official wings of the Dallas Cowboys.
 
The five-year agreement, which begins when the new Cowboys stadium opens this year, gives Wingstop an exclusive designation for use in advertising materials as well as rights to be the exclusive vendor of chicken wings at stadium events. Additionally, Wingstop's proprietary sauces will be available in the stadium's luxury suites.
 
Wingstop also will partner with the Cowboys on official Cowboys radio and TV broadcasts as well as advertising on the Cowboys Web site, in-game program ads, stadium advertising, special joint promotions and with specially designed bags and cups in the Wingstop restaurants in select markets throughout Texas.
 
Former Cowboys quarterback and current Fox sportscaster Troy Aikman has been the company's spokesman since 2003, and the company's network of franchisees includes current and former NFL players Ron Stone, Willie McGinest and Raheem Brock.
 
Founded in 1994, Wingstop has more than 650 locations open or under development.
