College football bowl season is here, and Buffalo Wild Wings announced several promotions to help fans when they're in the stadium, restaurant or online to celebrate the New Year at the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl on Dec. 31, according to a press release. The game, between the No. 20 LSU Tigers and the No. 13 Louisville Cardinals, will be played at 11 a.m. Eastern time and hosted on television by ABC.
"As we host the first Citrus Bowl to be held on New Year's Eve, we are excited to offer college football fans the opportunity to celebrate and follow this historic bowl game like never before," said Bob Ruhland, vice president of marketing at Buffalo Wild Wings, in a news release. "From the fans in the stands, to our guests in more than 1,200 restaurants and those following from home, our bowl game extensions are focused on bringing the game alive and providing unique access to fans everywhere."
The promotions include a halftime performance by Cole Swindell; an end zone selfie station; in-stadium wing giveaways; exclusive coach interviews on Twitter and a custom Snapchat filter in the stadium and at Buffalo Wild Wings locations, according to the release. Additionally, the concept announced donations to be presented to Boys & Girls Clubs of America, including a $10,000 donation to Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida.
