VeriFone produces successor to Omni 3750

LAS VEGAS — VeriFone Holdings Inc. announced that its recently introduced Vx 570 payment system has been certified for merchant transaction processing by RBS Lynk, the single-source, full-service provider of electronic payment processing services.
According to a news release, the Vx 570 is a successor to the industry standard VeriFone Omni 3750 and provides merchants with maximum flexibility, superior speed and high performance, in addition to compatibility with existing applications. Certification by RBS Lynk ensures its merchant customers can migrate to the Vx 570 to take advantage of a more powerful processor and optional memory up to three times greater than the Omni 3750, which allows them to run more and varied applications.
