Tropical Smoothie Café offers freebies for National Flip Flop Day

Tropical Smoothie Café is celebrating National Flip Flop Day, June 20, by encouraging guests to visit any location that day between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. wearing flip flops. Those who do will receive a free 24 oz. Jetty Punch Smoothie.

Customers can also show their support for Camp Sunshine during this time. if they purchase a $5 flip flop key fob, they will be rewarded with a 10-percent discount on all future purchases through the end of the year. Online donations are also accepted at nationalflipflopday.com.

This is the eighth year Tropical Smoothie Café has raised funds for Camp Sunshine, which is committed to bringing kids with life-threatening illnesses to camp. The goal this year is to raise more than $600,000, the company said in a news release.
