ToGoTechnologies certifies printer for restaurant mobile ordering solution

November 3, 2014

ToGoTechnologies, a provider of e-commerce solutions, announced it has certified the Epson OmniLink TM-T88V-i smart printer for its mobile and online ordering solution.

According to a news release, ToGo’s solution leverages Epson’s ePOS-print and Server Direct Print technologies to create a two-way communication channel between the OmniLink TM-T88V-i in the restaurant and ToGo’s cloud services, also known as OrderCloud. The bundled solution is available from ToGoTechnologies today in partnership with Heartland Payment Systems, which is bringing it to market nationally.

“Epson’s OmniLink TM-T88V-i allows us to deploy mobile and online solutions quickly and effectively without the requirement for POS integration,” ToGoTechnologies CEO Dan Simpson said in the release. “The intelligent technology Epson brings to the table allows for streamlined adoption of cloud-based applications by developers as well as restaurants. And while there is great value for merchants, the real winner is the restaurant consumer. Whether on the web, on Facebook, or on their smartphone, they are able to order anytime, from anywhere.”
