Tijuana Flats receives ADDY award

ORLANDO, Fla. — Tijuana Flats and their agency of record, PUSH, will be awarded a Gold ADDY for creative excellence at the 2006 National ADDY Awards June 11.
The ADDY will be for posters about holiday gift cards. Embodying the Tijuana Flats brand, the posters each portrayed menu items as comical gift-giving ideas. From wrapping a burrito in a bow, to sending nachos in a gift bag and mailing a taco in a holiday card, the campaign focused on why giving gift cards is easier.
More than 52,000 local entries were submitted to the ADDYs, and only 177 national awards were presented. Organizations submitting local entries had only a .003 percent chance of winning a national ADDY.
