Taim Mediterranean Kitchen eyes East Coast growth through franchising

Taim Mediterranean Kitchen, part of the Craveworthy Brands portfolio, is expanding across the East and Northeast through franchising.

The New York City-based fast-casual brand recently inked its first franchise agreement, with operator Jose Tabor, who will take over a formerly corporate-owned location at 341 7th Ave., in Brooklyn.

South Elgin, Illinois-based Craveworthy launched Taim's franchise program in 2025 and is targeting growth in markets including Washington, D.C., Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Taim operates seven additional locations in New York City, along with units in Washington, D.C., and Chicago.

"We aren't building Taim to be the biggest name in Mediterranean," Gregg Majewski, Craveworthy's founder and CEO, said in a press release.

"We're building it to be one of the best operators in the category. When the product is right, and the systems are in place, real operators win."
Craveworthy Brands acquired Taim and Hot Chicken Takeover as part of its 2025 acquisition of Untamed Brands.
