Subway files suit against Quiznos

International Herald Tribune: Subway franchisor Doctor's Associates has filed a suit against Quiznos and iFilm over the "Quiznos vs. Subway TV Ad Challenge," held in the fall of 2006.
For the promotion, Quiznos invited the public to submit homemade commercials to a contest aimed at attacking Subway. But Subway claims many of the videos made false claims and depicted its brand in a derogatory way.
The case is scheduled to go to trial in U.S. district court in Connecticut in 2009.
