Starbucks promo rewards loyalty members

From May 1-10, Starbucks guests who visit a store from 3-5 p.m. can receive a half-priced Frappuccino of any flavor or size. And, from May 6-10, My Starbucks Rewards members can enjoy an extended Frappuccino Happy Hour until 6 p.m. when paying with a registered Starbucks Card.

Beverages featured for the promotion include:

• The new Caffé Espresso Frappuccino;
• Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino blended beverage;
• Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino blended beverage.

Flag planted at Boston's Fan Pier

Starbucks is also part of a wave of new waterfront retailers to open in Boston's Fan pier as part of its next phase of expansion. According to a news release, Fan Pier is one of the country's largest privately funded mixed-use development sites and is developed by The Fallon Company.

Starbucks Coffee Company's Fan Pier location will occupy 2,100 square feet of street floor space, and is expected to open in the summer of 2014

Terms of the deals, which were brokered by CBRE New England on behalf of The Fallon Company, were not disclosed.

The signings are part of retail expansion planned for 2014 at Fan Pier, which already is home to restaurants Empire Asian Restaurant & Lounge, Sam's and Strega Waterfront, as well as luxury clothier Louis Boston and hair stylist Salon Mario Russo.
